Legalization of Shipping Documents
This process usually involves preparation of a certificate of origin, the general form, as well as Israel Free Trade Certificate, NAFTA or other shipping documents. Many countries, especially those in the Middle East require that shipping documents for goods destined for those countries be "legalized", this means that the shipping documents have to be prepared according to the requirements set forth by Customs in those countires.
These documents must be presented to the embassies or consulate of those nations and a fee paid and have them stamped by the representatives of the countries involved so that the goods can be shipped and cleared through Customs without any problems, and this is what we do. This process generally takes from one to four days from the time documents are presented to the consulates/embassies.
